System designed for the longitudinal and transversal cutting and further automatic folding in carts, for all kind of fabrics, raschel blankets, velvet, rough fabric which are used in bed linen, furnishing and bath linen manufacturing processes. 

BLANKET CUT systems are designed with several capacities, with useful working widths up to 3.200 mm.  It can incorporate several feeding and evacuation devices.

Working Process

The system allows the longitudinal and transversal cutting of the fabric pieces and its further half-width folding into carts. 

Transversal cutting is executed manually, longitudinal cutting is executed automatically by a cutting cart which slides on a lineal guide and also automatic folding is given by a new system. Previously, size of the final products must be programmed. The systems folds the material in half-width way on the carts. 

Material to be processed is placed in the feeding system. Depending on the necessities of the customer it can be by unfolding or unrolling. 

Then, material passes through a rollers set in order to give it the desired stretch. 

Material continues through a by-pass system which is equipped with several guiding and allignement devices for a perfect allignement of the material. BLANKET CUT is also eqquiped with a device which allow the customer to control the stretch. Velocity is adjustable in all the models. 

A motorised lapped roller is the oe which executes the system feeding. 

Fabric, always with constant stretch, goes through the longitudinal cutting system (in case of being installed) where is cutted. in addition, material can be inspected. When the pre-stablished size is achieved, the machine stops, allowing the operator to make the transversal cutting.

Once the cutting phase is finished, tha machine executes the folding on the cart and after the complete programm material is ready to be transfered to the next production stage or to be stored. 

BLANKET CUT incorporates an  electronic programming device with diagnosis and maintenance systems. It has emergency signalling and automatic maintenance manuals.
