Textile Machinery Manufacturing LIDEM

System designed for the unrolling or unfolding from zigzag of fabrics and knitwear, for a further half-width folding and rolling into half-widhth rolls. The system is also offered the other way around.

ROLLER FOLD systems are half-width rolling machines with several capacities, with profitable working widths up to 3,000 mm. The customer can choose between several feeding and evacuation systems.

Continuous and regular feeding Feeding is executed by unrolling or unfolding of the fabric, which precedes a continuous and regular feeding of the half-width folding and rolling groups. Precision The system allows to count all the rolled meters due to the incorporated electronic meter counter.

High correction Centering system allows an optimal rolling, due to a perfect fabric centering. Adaptation according to the customer necessities LIDEM adapts its machinery to the customer necessities. He can choose, among others, the profitable working width, feeding system, half widht rolling size, diameter of the rolls to be used and feeding and evacuation devices.  Simplicity and Safety The machine, as all the LIDEM equipment, is extremely sturdy and complies with the most demanding International Safety Regulations for industrial machinery.

Working Process

Fabric is placed on the feeding system, which can be customized according to the parametres given by the customer (roller set, motorised roller set, by holder for big rolls, A-frame, etc.) 

All feeding systems, can be motorized or not, according to the necessities of the customer and the kjind of fabric. With motorised systems the customer can control the fabric tension. In all models, speed is adjustable.  

Firstly, unrolled fabric goes through a by-pass, where tightness is controlled. This way the customer get the desired tension. In case of motorised feeding system it is not necessary. 

In case of big batches, a motorized tractor roller, specially recovered, executes the unrolling of the fabric in a precise way. It is synchronized with the rolling group.

After that, the fabric continues through a compensator-accumulator which ensures a continuous and regular feeding, at constant tightness, of the rolling group. 

The fabric goes through the so called “folding rhombus” at constant tightness. There, fabric is half width folded in a precise way.

Rolling unit is composed by a motorized rollers set, which guarantees a perfect rolling of the fabric in both ways: tightness and alignment.

This unit presents two rollers, specially rubbered, to guarantee the traction for all kind of fabrics.

The ROLLERFOLD incorporates a meter-counter. It can stops the machine when the programmed meter number is reached.
