LIDEM announces a new version of its ROLLER CUT system, specially designed for the cut of rolls into ribbons and bias, with the highest precission and speed..
The new ROLLER CUT version is a cutting system through bar (inserted in the cardboard core) instead of LIDEM tradional rollers. The model incorporates the latest and highest technology which allows LIDEM to create a fully automatic and autonomous, easily programmable and which allows the customers to get a high precision at high speed.
Some of our customers in Brazil and Belgium (the first ones to install the system in their factories) have shown their fully satisfaction with the model. ‘With this version we get slices up to 3 mm without any problem’ – has informed us one of them.
The system integrates a control system through tactile screen which allows the operator to control of the machine’s parametres (number and thickness of the cuts, roll rotation speed, blade turning speed, cutting head descending speed, lubrification, sharpening intervals,etc).
Other improvements the new model incorporates are a new sharpening system and a roll detection device. The last one, allows the machine to adopt the cutting speed when the roll is detected and starts the movement of the cutting head as soon as the blade has left the roll. This way, the machine increase the number of cuts by reducing the total cutting time.
LIDEM continues working in order to develop technical improvements in the system which will allow us to increase the quaility of the system.
